Description

I need six items to finish my set chronicle.
Sander's Paragon
is one of them so I figured it would probably just be easier to gamble for it.

Google's AI overview says this:
To gamble for
Sander's Paragon
(Sander's
Cap
)
in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you should use a character around level 20–25 to ensure the item level (iLvl) is high enough to spawn the set item, but low enough to keep costs down.

Optimal Level: Approximately Level 20–25. The
Cap
has a low Quality Level (qLvl), and gambling at this stage prevents it from rolling into higher-level, more expensive, or exceptional/elite versions.
Item Type: Select Caps in the
Gheed
gamble menu.
Item Level Calculation: Gambled items have an iLvl of Clvl +4/-5. To ensure the
Cap
can roll the set version, your character must be at least level 15–20 to hit the required iLvl 20.
It first says 20-25 but then it says at least level 15-20.

Should I be level 15 or level 20 to try gambling for it?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Resurrected Paladin Asia PC
for best chance, 25 . lv 15 is able to get it at lowest chance.

Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.

you can check that with maxroll's gamble calculator:
https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2-drop-calculator#l25;gamble=cap
Just adjust the player level, it's already set to
Cap
on the link.

Sander's Paragon
becomes available at level 16. The best chance is from level 25 - 28 (with 1:3333). But since the price increases with each level @leox is right that level 25 is the optimum.

OP
Thanks for all the replies. Now I just need to get a character to 25.

25 is also nice because you can use the Edge runeword.
