What's the Tzone Etiquette for public games on Bnet? I've been seeing them around and people joining in and out of them.

I don't want to join and accidently make a faux pas or cause any trouble.

What I’ve learned so far (EU servers):

There are different types:

Split games: everyone farms a different area. The host usually writes something like “tombs taken” in the description and terrorizes Act 2.
Other players can farm the remaining areas in Act 2 or terrorize other acts.
Additionally, some have the rule that whoever uses a Shard also reserves the boss area for themselves (Act 1 → Catacombs +
Andariel
).
If you kill a
Herald
, it’s appreciated if you open a TP and let a Barb hork.

EXP games (e.g. tz-tombs): everyone stays together to gain as much experience as possible. Usually only playable with
Teleport
.
