Yeah IAS has to be totally 're-worked' in order to 'fix' melee IMO.
No, it actually ISN'T. This runeword (as some others) is extremely overpowered. This particular one offers you:
1) a high level damage increasing Aura;
2) astonishing percentage of Crushing Blow;
3) a curse which is a must-have for killing Übers;
4) a chance to increase your resistanses levels;
5) solid up to +375% damage;
6) and even a little bit of magic find.
Yes, the runes are quite expensive, but it's worth it.
What else would you desire? IAS? One hit killing? Immortality?

I don't mind doubling (or tripling I guess) up on the same rune just to make it more valuable. And ITD is actually a worthwhile stat.
Sur is just actively counterproductive, not just in general but even against the runeword itself.
Though I suppose they could've achieved the same thing with 3 Ber and 1 Jah instead of 3 Jah and 1 Ber. Them 3 Ber would then give you the same minimum 60 CB value we already have anyways. Just to "not feel bad about redundancy" I guess.
I just hate that this would be my go-to weapon for at least 2 of my builds but solely thanks to the Sur is hard disqualified from all of them.

Definitely agree with this. Same reason for me on a different runeword where I use 2x Last Wish Ragnar over Pride+Might Emilio because Pride freezes. I have a hard time horking icecubes, Emilio! :/

The devs could make ITD (and similar Boolean properties) stack. Like, for example, 2× - applies to champions, 3× - applies to uniques, 4× - applies to regular bosses, 5× - applies to uber bosses, 6× - always hits (no level difference calculation, no 95% cap).
Would it be OP? No! Casters' skills already always hit and are ranged and AoE and do not require GG gear.

There is no autolinking (because "might" is also an English modal verb, so there'd be a a lot of false positives). but you can manually insert an URL:

Maybe that's the intent. It's so expensive and so good that they needed to add a nearly worthless override curse to make you question whether or not to use it. I love how thoughtful and in-depth Blizzard gets with the little nuances of game balance.
