Since uber diablo is mostly a mixture of fire, lighting and physical, you can theoretically get a Stone skin/lightning enchanted demon, and then used a Resist Fire aura or Summon Tainted to further grant fire immunity, and he shouldn't be able to damage them.
Though good luck getting those with cursed AND the desired aura.

My Blunderbore didn't take a scratch. Only had 1 DC so far, can't say anything about other demons.
Anything with Immune to fire
Not even necessary. Summon one Tainted, he gives fire resist and can make other summons immune.
My wave 5 Baal minion with Conviction did quite well. I actually had a bunch of other creatures coming towards me that I had to deal with, so he was by himself for half the time. Did ok that little fellah. Wish I had some doggy treats to give him after.
Second kill today on Asia server, so I can tell more:
This time with an ordinary Vile Mother (Extra Fast, Extra Strong, Cursed, Conviction). I added the usual Goatman for CB and a Tainted for fire resist.
My merc is a Rogue Scout with Edge Matriarchal Bow, Toothrow and Stealskull. Nothing special.
The clone just died in two minutes. Bound demon took no damage, I just resummoned the other two several times. Merc was out of danger.
Easy peasy with a Warlock...

I have not had trouble with Hephasto. Hes been fine without immunities. But I suppose all of that depends on your skill levels and if its normal or tormented Hephasto.
