Load screen lag is such a f*cking c*nt

Anyone on PC get this issue where the game loads but the screen is still stuck on the load screen for several seconds, sometimes resulting in what appears to be a lag Death?

Just had it happen in Uber Trist with my HC warlock. Luckily I'm quick on the trigger finger with the Save & Exit, but being out a set of keys is a fucking pissoff. This is on offline SP so guess im gonna be grinding for some more keys FFS and then figure out if there's some way to prevent this next time.

That's cheap, I was thinking about getting back into hardcore, but I don't think I could handle losing a character that way.

It's real common in online. The game/server sees your character almost instantly although your computer is still stuck loading.
I run two accounts sometimes and it's "funny" seeing my character on one screen just standing and chilling and the other screen is still on the loading animation.

No no, didnt get killed. That's what i meant when i said i was lucky that I'm quick on the trigger finger with Save & Exit. But I'm out a set of keys/organs now.

My defiler and merc were already killed before the screen even loaded in. I myself was cornered right at the portal by a huge skelly mob of Uber Meph, was wearing Fortitude (my usual go to for Ubers) and not my Enigma so couldnt TP away, had no choice but to Save & Exit or be killed. Better to lose set of keys than a whole char but still a huge pissoff, especially when my warlock likely would've mowed them down if done right.
