Matter of preference really.

Vortex Shield = best defense
Sacred Targe = highest block -> lowest dex requirement -> more life
Zakarum Shield = most stable dmg due to no dmg range
Sacred Rondache = 0.5 more average dmg than the others
Kurast Shield = nothing special, just mweh

Agreed. Except that Kurast Shield is totally fine, too. Just make sure that the shield is elite and Eth for Exile.

I remember doing tons of testing on my uber pala last year spending way too much on various shields and gear options and at the end, I settled with a Herald Of Zakarum with a Ber on it. But yeah, tons of options and preference.

I'd just take the elite shield with the best automods or the best fitting style to the rest of my armor.

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys, Ral, Hel, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than Pul (with the named exceptions).

Nope, simply because we are already well geared in this respect - and I tell you a secret: Despite having found so far 2 Zakarum Shield with 45AR and 0 OS I am using a Phoenix in a Sacred Rondache because it rolled 398ED
