Budge Warlock who can handle hell?

New sunder system kind of forces you to play either Warlock, good ol' hammer or Bone necro (with wlk being the most reasonable choice) for coming season.

Otherwise, you get stuck in hundreds of

Terror runs, being unable to kill half of the mobs on average and investing huge amounts of time before the game fun realy starts.

i found the warlock fun to level and hardly ran in to any issues dieing or getting stuck on acts leveling.

i decided on my skill tree would be

Abyss. maxxed

Miasma Bolt. then points into chains untill i could start rocking

Abyss then dumped the rest into chains .
then j started getting other all the demon skills, just 1 in each.
wrecking everything in hell, havent tried clone / ubers or anything crazy yet tho

Offline is wildly different than online. I did only offline and LAN until 2024 and I never found a lot of stuff that the online players take for granted.

Tal Rasha's? Things like Infinity, Grief, and Enigma are a pipe Dream for most players if they play offline.

A lot of people here talk about how easy it is to get near BiS gear easily, but they're talking about trading. Which in all reality, relies on bots somewhere in the chain. Playing this game SSF is a challenging experience unless you are willing to spend hours upon hours farming the same areas over and over and over.

That's where warlock breaks the ethos of the game. No other class is going to reasonably clear hell naked with

Wirt's Leg. Every other class has to invest time in an actual build and finding decent gear.

But it’s still far off. I could of course start farming like mad with Java or hamm, but I tried it. And did get a few nice runes. But after a while it kinda ruins the game. It’s just like going to work. And I’m playing for fun. I find the notion of farming forced, so I just play the game from scratch on a new build each time. And find whatever I find.

bind a demon that is cursed and u will have no problem with physical immunes.

Same here. Up until D2R all I ever did was start a fresh character, play through hell

Baal with whatever gear I found. Start a fresh character. I did have some low level sets and uniques for twinking the early part of the game. I would only do a little bit of farming when I got stuck or if I just wanted to take a high level character and massacre a few hordes. I've only started doing farming runs with D2R so that I can find some stuff worth trading so that I can eventually get the gear that I would never find in SSF.

I recently did 100 Countess runs just to see how good the rune drops actually were, and that 100 runs was painful. Like you say, it was pretty much a job.

Blizz doesn't care if something is beyond broken. They never have. If they did, their failed streamer-based play testing would've never let this pass..even they can't be blind enough to not see this crap.

ohhh yeah a fire warlock is harder. Insight on a merc and Leaf for u is pretty good, ondels Wisdom is a little better and pretty cheap too. i just found a +4 and i'm selling my +3 for like 10 gems.
and binding a

Conviction demon is the way to go to make it thru hell. it still doesn't break all the fire immunes. Infinity doesn't always either tho.

u could always respec.
