Are 2.6 runewords still ladder only?

Has anyone tried making one since 3.0 patch?

Yes, they are still ladder-only. I haven't tried making them myself but I know several people who have (Mosaic at least).

Equally valid question:
Are (some of) the new runewords ladder only? Or are they all available now?
Anyone try making one yet?

New ones can be made

Only change so far was what Hustle rename and Mosaic not going to be on the new ladder..

Mosaic really needs to stay imo.

Sure, it's broken (albeit no more than a fair few other builds). And I don't even use it myself, nor do I want to. But giving older players an eternal advantage over newer ones by changing/removing the true top tier items while preserving the old copies was imo one of the worst things about the original LOD.

I actually agree. I'm going off of what said yesterday on Lama / kano stream about.. Going to be taken off ladder for next season then in future redone..

Actually just found blizz's list of known issues for RotW.
And based on that, it sounds more like Mosaic is simply moving to non-ladder.

I just tried making it wasn't able to.. Unless it don't switch until next season starts.. I don't know that's an odd one if they were going to make that change why not do it when the expack released? hmm, very interesting.

Well, since it is listed as a known issue, yeah, it shouldn't work on non-ladder right now, until whenever they fix that.

We know Mosaic is being changed so trying that in NL is a dead end. Hustle got renamed retroactively, but does it or any others work in online NL?

Cure doesn't work.

New ladder starts on 20th so this when those changes should take place imho. I don't even think this is a bug. It's just a weird phase that never happened before since it's the first time that there are several days between one season ending and the next starting.

I assume they give us some days to experiment before we the race is one. Quite nice of them if you ask me.
