Which old classes can use the new content?

Hi all.

I am making this thread as a discussion for experienced player to share how they think the new runewords and items could impact previously known builds.

I'll start with the Void runeword.

Void will deffo be interesting for Hammerdin and Bone necros. Unfortunately the indestructible stat in the

Dagger doesn't make it a viable melee weapon since it lacks any sort of ED, therefore it'll be stuck at low melee damage output.

Void seems like a very good late game option for it's magic find and the decreptify charges can really help against ubers and the new uber ancients.

Second i'll say the new

Hellwarden's Will can be useful for Bone necro running at least 3 items of trang because the set grants them high level

Fireball and firewall. Mostly for the magic damage boost but the fire damage can also have an impact depending on gameplay.

The

Sling ring is also going to be a very good item for both hammerdin and Bone necro, and so will

Entropy Locket

A phys

Opalvein ring on

Frenzy barb or Fury druid could be devastating because those have the fastest attack speeds in the game.

Except for Void i don't think the 4 other runewords will make much of a difference unless i am mistaken i don't see any build that unbelievably gain anything from those.

Hellwarden's Will could be a nice helm for a fire based Bowazon. IAS, Maek, -resistance, +1 skill are great stats. Low STR reqirement supports her, too.
This helm also increases the damage of

Magic Arrow!

All those new items with magic damage could breath new life in Bonemancer, Zerker and FoH-builds. I really appreciate this!

Now I am waiting for some further melee buffs. The game is on a good way!

Opalvein seems to be (almost) OP for many caster classes, challenging even very good rares. I mean, this item is maybe a bit too good.

The 2-piece bonus of

Horazon's Hold is BiS for IAS.

Horazon's Legacy is the only footwear with Cannot Be Frozen. The Chonky Ancients' jewels are all extremely solid for characters using the appropriate element (assuming you have any sockets that aren't devoted to runewords, of course.
