it will occupy the position of head/body socket. Meaning less facet need in future.

it can only occupy 1 socket, so it is limited , just the position original for light facet reduce 1.
Or originally need 15 min damage/ AR/ resist position -1.
For many physical build, this kind of position only need 1 - 3. In the build that only need 1 perfect jewels, the need completely zero. Most build it need 1-3.
So the impact is limited.

Zeal paladin only need 1 - 0 in shield. hammedin, I remember they create new

So the player in new expansion that need max-min damage, they are going to use -10 physical resistance . If it only need 1, the value will completely zero.

In my

Zeal build, I do not use runeword shield. So it still has some use, I was need 2. Now it becomes 1. But for most

Zeal build, they use Exile or similar runeword and gface. In those build, max-min damage jewel become 0 need.

In the other build, light sorc build, griffon eye and self-wield inf, it will depends on armor. if it is not rune word but 4 socket life armor, it will use facet + new jewel. reduce 25% usage. My build , I use unique small staff, g-eye , shield, 3 -> 2.

In short, the new jewel almost destroy value of rare jewel and reduce value of facet by 10-20%.

Fade (after chance around 10 Resistance+) . For G-face + runeshield

Zeal build, it
completely beat 17 min damage, 10 All resistance, Accy by 30-50%. Make the original use case impossible. But some build use unique shield, it still work 50%. ( Main market of 10-100

Some bar, physical bow amazon build only need 1 physical jewel also makes it worse. (people will stop create new jewel because of this update kill seat of need)

Yes, something about the new version messed up all the graphics for me as well. I actually just started a fresh install hoping that will help after reading someone else doing this. I was initially against big changes like this but I think it's going to be good. I've changed my outlook a lot over the course of the day.

Not everyone has the opportunity to spend money on whatever they want. I'm in Ukraine, Kharkiv. Under fire. All the money goes on food, water, and electricity. I don't have any extra money for a new upgrade.
