Did you check in your bios to see if the ports are enabled?

Well the upside is that you no longer have to concern yourself with your USB ports not responding. You do know of course that a keyboard and mouse aren't that expensive? By the way, what are your PCs specs?

Lol yea I know they aren't expensive. But they aren't broken. I've tested them on my wife's laptop and they work. Its literally the USB ports on my pc. I'm not a big computer guy so I don't know the specs, I know blasphemous. But its good enough to run

I just hope to see some more char slots and stash tabs at first. Not only you need less mule but also more space to try interesting builds and I'm ok with it if I have to pay.In addition to these, I'd like to see some improved item base to get variety to the builds. Alternative to Spirit, Enigma, Infinity etc. from the uniques and sets. But I genuinely hope that they won't mess up the core of the game.

Would like to see;

- Stackable jewelry,
- Unlimited stash tabs,
- Separate charm inventory,
- More 4os shields including Necro heads,
- 8os items and RWs,
- Rework on uniques and sets that make them alternative for generic RWs,
- Completion of act 4,
- New act,
- New class,
- New level.

Nobody is forcing anyone to get more tabs. Obviously if choosing what to keep and what to junk is completely on the user, then those who choose to support the game should be entitled to likewise. Myself i spent more on my caffeine fix than any MTX on a monthly basis and i have no qualms about forking out a little bit of coffee monies to support a title. If it works out, their parent company would take notice of the untapped potential just sitting there for a good 3 years while they continue to milk the d4 / Immortal cash cows. Even if 10% of the existing PC population sinks a dollar on a monthly basis it still beats having dependency on discounts for D2r to get funds in.

Stash or char slots bundle +1 , WASD movement, and getting the game on Steam would insert new life into the game,

I have asked this in other forums over the years, never really got too positive of a response. So here goes.

How would you feel if they announced a new subscription model that introduced new content, new areas, new items, etc.

Key difference is these would be on separate realms from the current. You could still play D2R for free online, but to access the new realms it would be $10-12 monthly.

In the past few weeks I have seen a flurry of fantastical to delusional ideas on what Blizzard is going to announce for D2. Too many think there are going to be extensive changes, some even thinking they are going to introduce a new class in a patch (i.e. for free). Reality is, nothing gets done because there simply is no incentive or revenue to push that. I think the most we will see in this upcoming change will be 2x additional stash tabs. Maybe a couple of new runewords, maybe couple of items (using same graphics a la China's "Warlord" aka Sigons).

I played WoW for two years.

I would never again pay a monthly subscription for a game. Never again!

WoW is one of the the last subscription game based.
That's clearly not the current game funding model.

You can try to reset your bios by unplugging the PC, opening the case, and removing the small coin shaped battery for a few minutes, then returning it, and power up and try your keyboard and mouse again.

Your first couple of comments are more realistic, but those points below (aka your wishlist) is just gonna set yourself up for more than a stashload of disappointment.

You would need a separate dedicated team... and only way is to commission a "go ahead sign off" by the higher ups to allocate dev $$$$ = time for more work on ancient code. . . that the original creators worked on, the Legacy team was already destroyed ...aka self inflicted. The parent company needs to get a team with Passion as their core motivation ...put the Project Diablo team on pay roll. . . to get those additional content rolling.

other than that i would really hold back on being too overly enthusiastic...we'll see anyway very soon.

That D4 announcement trailer was so good, better than 90% of what Hollywood produces. I was so pumped for the game release, but after it came out and I saw the gameplay videos and reviews, the game itself didn't seem like it would be as good. In all reality, I probably would like it, but I doubt it would scratch the Diablo itch that D1 and D2 created, and my gaming time is limited.

I did watch "all cutscenes and cinematics" videos and caught up on the Lore, so, like you, I get the story and some "movie" but I'll just stick to playing D2.

I think so, too. And it would spare me fiddling around with wine on a regular base just to get the game running as this might implicate native linux support. Microsoft allready commited to linux by doing linux subsystem for windows, so why not take another step and port their games to a saner OS.
