So the lvl 89 was either a game bug (wrongly displayed) or the screenshot was fake.
2nd is more likely but the seller has good reputation and it seams odd for a scam.
Maybe ask the seller what happened and ask for a refund? Their reaction should be telling.
We did have the convo afterwards, i dont think either me or the buyer had ever had this issue before - And your reply alligns with chatgpt, thanks for the reply!

What could be done (but is not worth the effort). If traded back and it becomes lvl 89 again, put it on a lvl 90 char and see if they can equip it: this would verify UI bug vs item bug.
You could also analyze the screenshot to see if it was faked. I made a quick visual check if the numbers are slightly off and how the background around the numbers look. Nothing suspicious on first sight but fake images often have clues in the lower bits of the colors.
