eth archon staff for fury druid

recently i found

Eth

Archon Staff with some low sorc mods (+2

Chilling Armor and +1

Enchant), as it is 1st

Archon Staff i ever saw for years

usualy i used my Fury druid for ubers in case i am tired of playing with java Infinity

Fury lvl94 setup: Metamorphosis ,

Archon Plate Hustle,

Eth Death

Decapitator,

Highlord's Wrath, gore riders,

Raven Frost, random allres ring with some leech and attack rating,

String of Ears

in case i use Breath of the Dying, husle is not needed for attack speed, so i would switch to Fortitude for extra damage

question is if to sell it or

Larzuk it and make a self use base for ethereal Breath of the Dying ?

what do you think ?

I would definitely

Larzuk it and make a botd, then test it in comparison to the

Eth

Decapitator. The damage of the

Archon Staff is probably more reliable (less range).

Let me make two other suggestions for great Fury weapons:

Eth

The Reaper's Toll (

Decrepify) and

Eth

Ribcracker (CB). Both go to town hard

Death in an ethereal

Decapitator is a monster.

If you want

Decrepify, just put a Lawbringer on a A5 barb.

i tried

Eth breath of dying on

Archon Staff with same setup: played on p1 96 TZ

Baal and here are results: for regular mobs, not much difference, only difference i saw is with killing

Baal, much faster and dmg with my Death

AR is a bit higher with ebotd (like ~700 + due its +30 all attributes)

dmg with Death: 3k-10k
dmg with ebotd: 5k-7k
both stast are not boosted (no heart of wolwerine, no Metamorphosis pre-buff, no fanatisism, no

Enchant,....)

Don't forget the hudge 50% deadly strike and 50% crushing blow on Death.
Crushing blow explains why you kill faster

Baal with Death.

If you don't need IAS, Last Wish is better than Hustle on A5 Merc.

Really love that there's two truly viable options for the staves. Breath of the Dying & Obsession! Never considered this base for Botd before .
