Description

Hi there. I can't add any attachments to posts. Copy/paste, dragging and pressing the button all do nothing.

Device: PC
Browser: Vivaldi
OS: Windows 10

Steps to reproduce:
Try adding an attachment in any possible way.

Anything else to add:
The console logs a whole lot of errors related to ads and tracking.
I normally have adblock active (will consider donating though), but the problem also happens without it.

Thank you :)

I didn't change anything, but it works now.

The problem was in trade forums and here, too. Maybe the permissions weren't applied correctly? Anyway, it seems solved. Thank you!

To combat a recent wave of Temu coupon code bot spam throughout the holidays, we've had to enable a mode that puts all newly registered user accounts into a special role that requires approval from a moderator for their posts to actually go through (I had to approve this bug report post for it to actually show up in the forums). I think that this may also affect attachments.

@Teebling can you confirm if this a side effect of the newly registered users mode?

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

Which forum were you trying to post an attachment in sh3ll? Was it in this bug reports forum, or on your first trade listing? Did you receive an error in the interface itself (not in the console)?

Edit: I've checked all the permissions for Newly Registered Users and attachments are allowed regardless of which forum they are posting in, so that rules out a permissions issue.

I think it may be something to do with your browser 'Vivaldi' which I've never heard of. Can you please try on say Firefox?
