there is urban legend, when you feel unlucky, you need something to wash away it.

I usually use

Gold to gamble cheap low lv rare gloves, rare low lv bow. You know you wont spend much but bad luck goes away with it.

It doesn't necessarily be exactly equal to this, just any cheap but useable item to wash away bad luck.
