Don't forget the
Salvation
Aura!
It is in many guides not mentioned, because if you have very good gear you don't need it.
But one single point in it already is +60% all resistance.
And since you have + gear it will probably be at something like 80% or even higher.

That helps a lot against Mephis aura - some suggest using the
Conviction
Aura yourself, to "overwrite" the one of Mephi. But you need lvl 21 for that, so a lot of skill points.

And maybe the +Resi with
Salvation
are already enough to get your lightning resistance to 300 or 320 (depending on your max lightning Resistance)

As armor: Sure, Enigma is great - and if you know the layout the
Teleport
is invaluable.

But a more safe option is
Guardian Angel

It increases your max resistance to 90. And if you have
Thundergod's Vigor
as
Belt
, your max lightning resistance is 95% (Probably not needed, but better safe than sorry)

So if you get to 320 All Resistance with
Salvation
, Mephi can't do anything against you.

Your damage becomes "irrelevant", if you need a minute longer or not to defeat him? Who cares.
Then you can switch to Fanatism against
Baal
and Diablo.

Keep in mind, that my suggestions are not the meta, in the sense that other ways are faster.
It is a safe option, that will result on you (probably) never dying and not even needing much potions.

And if you do not plan to run
Uber Tristram
10 times a day, it doesn't matter if the whole process (including farming the brain and the other stuff) takes a few more minutes or not.
Oh I am for sure the safety guy over the speed guy, I am not trying to set records here, just trying to get a torch have the experience, and not dying would be a great plus. I am softcore, so not the end of the world literally if I die, but still I would rather avoid it.

I do have
Guardian Angel
and that is an interesting idea, just take it all to the max, and hit him until he dies.

Good advice, and my play style more matches what you are saying here anyway. Can I give up Enigma though? Oh.... hmmm.... that would be tough, I hit that B button all the time ;)

Enigma to not waste your time running around looking for them, and draculs/Exile to make sure it procs as soon as you start hitting. it turns very easy.
Oh, I love my Enigma and while you could do all of this without it, running LK until I could make Enigma was worth the grind once I was done
I got my Enigma by simply farming lol, found the runes by the time my sorc was 96 and all the other characters are 90 lol.
my sorc is now 98, once she hits 99 I think I will start farming with trapsin, windruid or summon necro.

One more tip for
Lilith
: Her den is similar to the tower of the council but bigger. The map layout is still left turn from the entry.

Duriel
is usually just north of the entry or anywhere on the map.

Lilith
is also the most dangerous by far. Keep BO up and make sure you are not curses and she doesn't have might aura nearby. She can easily onehit 3+k damage.

On your first run, clear everything and don't just
Teleport
in there. I'd opt for
Guardian Angel
over Enigma for a first run.

In Tristan, lure
Mephisto
out to the south at the "summoning Stone". Have
Fade
proc'ed from a treatch, it helps with countering the lvl 20
Conviction
aura. I usually run a lvl 21
Conviction
against him but you won't have this luxury with your hybrid setup, so you need a lot of over stacked res.

I've got on SCNL
- Mosaics, Cures, and Hustles
- GG crafted amulets
- Perfect uniques
- Bases

OP is offline. Doesn't appear he has a
Ber

Jah
yet.
Yep, offline, and I do have Enigma, that is where all my
Ber
's went, and so so so so worth it. If my game bugged and I lost Enigma I would be so mad and go right back to LK and grind until I get it again, its that good
Nintendo Switch is known to have issues with items being deleted specifically on offline SP. This happens often when you move items from Personal Stash or Char Inventory into Shared Stash while the console has no internet connection or unstable internet connection, and then subsequently close the software thereafter. The same process also done in reverse can cause items to duplicate themselves (i.e. moved from Shared into Personal/Inv). All of this also applies if the switch is set to airplane mode.

The way to prevent this is to hard save (i.e. save&exit twice in a row) and then DO NOT close the software afterwards for at least 30 seconds. Personally I like to wait at least a couple minutes to be sure, or you can also put the console on sleep mode without closing the software which has appeared to be safe based on my experience.

That is super helpful, thank you! I had lost a few things with this bug, nothing major, an
Edge Bow
I moved around for gambling purposes and thought I was losing my mind. When my Spirit Shield and Hoto dupped, and my
Edge Bow
was gone. For sure got lucky it went this way and not the other.

What I wasn't sure of is how to make sure it doesn't happen. So yeah I have been paitently waiting at the char screen, but the save and exit twice is perfect!

OP
EDIT: I realized what my mistake was, I did the whole thing on /p7..... I had it up so I could get that experience going to get to 95 and pick up that
Fanaticism
point... and even had listed it as something to do but forgot.... I just did Durial, and ohhhhhhhh soo so sooooooo much better.

First run was a success!

Thank you everyone for the help!

I got a Sorc 19/10, which that 10 is as bad as it gets but 19 for my sorc, she will love!

A few things I did

Heaven's Light
1 socket with
Shael

Guillaume's Face

Enigma
Mara's Kaleidoscope

Herald Of Zakarum

Dracul's Grasp

Nature's Peace
/Wedding Band
Verdungo's Hearty Cord
/Tundergod's
Vigor

Raven Frost

Gore Rider

Swap: CTA/Spirit

What I loved and surprised me:

Dracul's Grasp
: amazing gloves, I didn't know
Life Tap
was that good

Thunder God's: I loved the Fist of Heaven and what it does for lightning res and absorb

Going to get the the parts and going to Tristam right AFTER I leveled up. I died a lot, more than I should and while it said "you lost experience" I didn't. I was backed up against the level stopper. So I just kept going back in no gear, running to get my gear.

Smite
: Awesome! Stuns most enemies! And you just press and hold (on a Switch) and toggle your little thumb stick and hit them all when they start surrounding you so you can go back to killing whomever

The guides before were also invaluable. I did get Meph stuck in a building and back out!

********************
What I didn't like:
Smite
: I know I said it was awesome and it was, but it also took forever. I spent 4 hours doing all of the organ collecting and then killing the big 3. I did put a point into
Fanaticism
and my CB was 83%. I also ran a IAS calculator and I was one off perfect for
Smite
, but it was still very fast. So if you see my setup and can provide any clarity I am all ears.

Why didn't everything die once the last one died? I mean its not a really big deal.... but like shouldn't there be a celebration in Tristam and all the bad stuff just dies?

Durability was terrible, my
Heaven's Light
needed constant repairs

No TP? I feel like someone said you can, so again if you know how I was baffled so kept having to get back to my portal which was tough at times, thank goodness for my backstopped experience loss.

Thank you again everyone!

Good job on getting it done!
I don't see Treachery in your listing. Using that and pre buffing with it help with survivability. It provides level 15
Fade
for 60 all res and 15% physical damage reduction.

If your char is still a hybrid hdin/smiter use hammer to clear adds when collecting organs. Switch to
Smite
for bosses. If he is full
Smite
add a few points into
Zeal
and use that to clear adds.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems
, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

Yep, Treachery though would not have lasted the whole time I was in there, the bosses were healing so fast even when I would run away, not sure I could even reproc Treachery.

I added an edit after you commented, sorry about that, my real problem was I had it on /p7 :( I have it now down at /p1 and boy that makes it a whole lot better. Now I bet I could proc Treachery and get it done

There it is! That was definitely 99% of your extra struggles.
You weren't the first to make that mistake and you won't be the last.

I wouldn't use Enigma for ubers or mini-ubers. It's a great armour for farming TZ or MF but not at all for Ubers (including mini-ubers) in my experience. I use Enigma all the time in general and I never use it for this purpose.

I don't care what anyone says about "it's faster to get past the adds". It is not that much faster and it's a ton safer to take your time to kill the adds anyways. Especially in
Matron's Den
, if you get cursed by a
Succubus
while fighting
Lilith
that is no bueno. Teleporting to save time or because it's a tiny bit more convenient is such an overrated privilege IMO and it's a "first world problem" to complain about not having. Especially when chances are for most people you finished the vast majority of the game without having it.

Use CoH, Fortitude,
Guardian Angel
, even Smoke is a better choice in this case if you ask me. Or if youre an FoH smiter hybrid (which would shred all the adds quickly btw), Principle can work well too but NOT against
Uber Baal
(whole other story there, lol).

And yeah, make sure you're on P1 settings, lol. I've made that mistake a couple times and noticed after a moment or two into fighting Uber Meph "something's not right here", lol.

Congrats on getting it done, here's to many more 👏

Level 15
Fade
from Treachery will last 4min 48 sec. I used to put a timer on my phone and then set it off to one side and glance at it periodically, lol.

Proc
Fade
is usually pretty easy if you quickly WP to
River of Flame
and just stand in the fire next to
Hadriel
.

I debated not using Enigma, and someone did suggest
Guardian Angel
, and for sure that would be a way to go.

For what its worth, I also think its wise to kill all the adds, and do so anytime I think there is a chance my body will get left somewhere and I want to go get it back so I don't have to save and exit and lose the progress. Sure teleporting past those overtime does save a lot of time, but that one time it goes wrong, really makes it not worth it.

I like Enigma for other reasons. I like it because you seem to "surprise" (I am sure that's not the term for it) the enemy when you show up right next to them and start tossing hammers are smashing your shield on them. There seems to be a delay in their reaction time, and so you get that first hit right away. Second, gotta love the extra life on it. Third, MF, though as you pointed out, here not really useful. Fourth, and this is a weakness in my gameplay, it makes a great get out of jail free card. Very rarely am I really stuck and can't
Teleport
out. Even in
Uber Tristram
, with those stupid ghosts on me, taking the mana to 0. I could hit a potion, and my B button and be gone if the need arose, and it did several times. Running away from the enemies, very hard to do, I bet impossible with Uber Meph. But
Teleport
, now you got a shot to get away, recoup and come in another path and surprise them again!

Again, all that could totally be a weakness in how I am playing, I am for sure not an expert at this game, and am open to ways others are doing it I am not seeing. LIke, step 1, check your player count..... hahahahaha
