Season 12

Hey so I’m newish to the game. Gonna try my first ladder season with the upcoming 12. Anything I should know? Are there gonna be new runewords and stuff? Any tips or anything?

Doubt theres new runewords but the Mosaic ive seen people talk to get nerfed. Good, that is needed, its idiotic.

No need tips or anything, you go and start playing and do what you feel like is good and fun. I have no idea when the next season begins, most likely very soon. Most likely dont plan to play the next season.

I heard estimates saying around late September/start of October because that's when D3 and D4 have their new seasons.

Fingers crossed for a rework on Mosaic but I wouldn't hold my breath.

D3 had their season start already. Dont know about d4 as I dont follow it anymore at all, such a scam grift game it was...

usually, it is mid-oct or late oct . But no more than early nov.

That only previous interview has confirmed news, all other things is rumor.

Interesting. Pay items on demand would surprise me, though it would take out the grind of finding HRs to make some more experimental builds. More stash would be really nice though a la PoE.

If the season is going to last another full month might just make Enigma then lol. Was banking on it ending sooner.

For that pay to get runes, it is not reasonable for current blizzard design.
It need something like 1 USD to get around

Hel runes which is only worth 0.1 usd or less in player trading. I cant remember exact rune , it probably worse than

Hel. luckily we don't have that design yet. As I remember, they make it like package, but even if you pay directly to highest value items, you can get like 3 times more in highest value item in player trading.

Likely , you can buy from player 3x light perfect facet but blizzard only give you one in massive draw and lots of crap stuff.(it is usually worse than what I say in blizzard rate, but I only express the update will looks like, not calculate accuracy, in real, probably 10x that I feel it is like play mobile paying game.)

The other thing about extra-stash, it is depends on people think. If people look for best price to get most stash, it is cheaper to buy another blizzard account. On the other way, if people look for convenient and best for one account and dont care about things like extra 10 usd cost per. It will better to choose extra-stash. In my opinion, the blizzard pricing is not reasonable that people should buy another account to extend stash.

(my scenario is that I need 10-extra char space to store

Perfect Gems and my not so close friend also need another 2 account to store perfect things.
I only need 2k space or so, he is likely need 30k)

Yeah I would be very surprised if they didn't do something like lootboxes/random packs of items in all honesty. Seems quite in line with modern blizzard. Fingers crossed they don't though!

Pay for items sounds horrible. It would ruin in-game economy. Extra stash sounds like a good meeting Ground. They get their money and we get a convenience that doesn’t turn into pay to win. Plus it’s optional.

Act 6 would be dope if they are getting help or input from OG creators

Pay for items, their balance is fall into very expensive in real world that only work for some. That for people smart and not want pay big will still use USD to buy runes from player , not from blizzard. For china server design, only SoJ and token , facet become 0 value. Runes still same due to it need like 10 usd or more to get

Jah and they need to draw it from packages and merge from low. Even if they implement it, it is still not so much difference to overall economic.

Impacted item: Token, SoJ, Facet, low runes which is not so much value in late game but works good for ladder start. Something like start the ladder with Spirit in hand.

For this kind of change, blizzard get money, economic only destroy token, soj , facet value by half and game keeps run , I think it is good.
And some people also fear this will implement into our world so people start dumping those surely impact item , although it may only exist in china server.

A6 , I believe they are just thinking and trying to make community feel fun. But those things is rumor, only Mosaic is confirm info.

you can buy items runes and everything you want anyway, just not straight from blizzard, hardcore, softcore, ladder, non ladder

Those rumors you just listed are not coming. They are going into the chinese grift version where dumbass low IQs are being milked from their money with pixels. These are not coming to the official diablo 2 resurrected, imagine the shitshow it would launch. They would kill the game with that swift move.

Diablo 2 is Mario while D2R is Super Mario.
Maybe they think it is Arcade.

They are going to test these things on the China side, push them slowly to the rest.

Chinese version of Diablo 3 has a lot of P2W stuff, yet the global version has not been contaminated by it. Let's hope for the same in D2.

Where was this confirmed?

it only says Mosaic will nerf in future , not saying when or how. some interview, I forget which, from blizzard staff saying to media, it is reliable news, at least more reliable than rumor things.

this part , it is not news, a lot of people already know, ask some about where it comes from, some people might remember seeing that public interview.
