Another 99

Personally have never hit 99 and never will, closest I got was 98 back in d2 original times and even that took all my free time.
Though I did not play full season from first day to last, but as a casual player like myself who had more time than most likely most; there is no way to hit 99 as casual player

I really dont believe many people have the means to hit 99 legit ways and these days very little are actually legit 99 players.

I bet its magnificent to reach the 99 eventually if legit work.

Its not that hard to hit 99 with

Terror zones now. You just have to play full games or /players8 single player. Much faster and easier than endless

Sure if you have the chance of using players 8 its easy for sure. Im talking about players 1. I dont play in public games unless trading or rushing, why? because cant get loot of any kind in games with people. Dunno if people are using pickup scripts / macros or what but I never am able to pick anything in games with other people. The game says ping is 30-60 but it wont react that way. Once I had hr underneath my darn legs with nobody around, yet somehow someone else managed to pick it up before my clicking had registered at all to the game. This is why I avoid games with other people unless its with friends which I dont do anyway as none of my friends play this game D:

Yes, it took a long time but I play single player on P8 and that helps a lot.

Terror zones are a good bonus, especially if it's a good one (

Online I have a level 91

Hydra Sorc and it takes ages o gain xp. I play solo with password games. Never played with anybody or traded anything.

I had a run yesterday with my Mosaic Sin with only +7 MF small charms on inventory (besides

Gheed's Fortune, Anny, Torch and ID tome) on a

Terror zone Cow level. It's insane how powerful she is compared to single target hitter barbarian. I'll go with her for a while to try to find the remaining items for Holy Grail.

P8 in singleplayer with

Terror zones, yes that is very much believable to reach 99 in quite "fast". At times really feel like changing into singleplayer but I do like rushing people so no can do

…and I actually leveled to 99 this ladder season, hit 99 a week ago, my first ever (took a little over 2 months of the season). I reached 94, my previous highest, and then just… kept going? At some point I decided I may as well just keep going. Only played p8 sporadically (WSK TZ and Tombs TZ), mostly p3. It just takes longer doing it on lower player counts. I had forgot I made the post above but someone alerted me to it, so I felt had to make an update

I hope now you can understand what means 99 in exclusively "solo online," that is, I trade, of course , but play 99.99% of my time alone (I did a bit offline P8 to practice and experiment, not wise to do that in online HC, but no trade and possibility to copy all items without any mods, simply changing one file to read-only, kills all the fun) .
Now nearing 99 to my 2nd char (98.59 atm - it goes like 1% of the last level per day). And it is HC.
I even have two 77 (lol) chars on HC Classic (now that is a special voyage, it deserves an epic essay of massive masohistic proportions).
But in Classic I have a help from my friend Atari, while in LoD my P2 play (never did any bigger group) makes less than 0.01% (more like a demonstration to a few friends, like, "look this silly build").
Anyway, it is important to ENJOY THE GAME, so never did and will never do some horrible runs on P8 that kills all fun of the game.
It must be hard and slow, although some of this borders to extremely hard, like Java in Classic, and that's something we should avoid - it kills the game from other spectrum.
To add a sugar, I have regular disconnect every day, only once per day, but constantly changes the hours. It makes all of this HHC, lol.
