A more likely explanation is that people stumble upon this site via Google searches (or they're already using it as a resource, just without an account), see the giveaway thread in the "latest discussion", and check it out.

Just keep in mind that I haven't actually updated the item list yet after hav0c_2's win. You're using some items that wouldn't be available in the next round unless I re-supply the giveaway with more of them. The way this works is that when I announce the winner, I wait to hear back from the them before I do anything else. They have 48 hours to do so. I need that confirmation because otherwise I'm just going to waste time collecting the winner's items, preparing for the next round, updating the list, etc, and then I might have to revert it all and pick a different winner. We've had more than 10 winners so far who never responded, and therefore missed out on their prize (and only one of those 10+ people ever responded, even to this day). In this case, hav0c_2 responded within 1½ hours, but I was already on my way to bed so it I didn't have time to do anything more at that time, and today I'm working, so I won't have time to post the new round until this evening (I'm in the EU).
That said - there's no need to update your build right now. Wait for me to actually post the next round. When I do that it means that I'm confirming that the list is up-to-date again, and letting you know if I've re-supplied it with any more items. Then you can double check that your items are still available, and adjust as needed.

I always wanted to make a Lightning Fury javazon build. By browsing your inventory I realized that I can actually make an end-game level build simply using what is there. I just need to farm/trade a highlords and everything will come together.
I am also collecting pieces to make my current MF sorc to an immortal sorc and cannot find the gerks so, pls don't mind me grab that in the off-hand...
