D2R PvP Nexus

Hey everyone!

I've made an all-inclusive D2R PvP Discord for veterans and new players alike. There are currently 13 automated ladders available to join and depending on community growth, the potential for server and/or community donated prizes.

There are a lot of niche servers for PvP but I wanted to bring the GM Melee folks together with the SvS or Team Duel folks, for example.

Team Duel ladders just got a huge update (you can create a team with other members (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) designate a captain to challenge other teams and climb the .

I plan on hosting ironman tourneys as well if time permits.

The server needs to be tested and I'm looking for a potential moderator to help me organize things and respond to things. First season will be for testing to make sure all works well.

If you love GM PvP and a chill atmosphere and want to rank with like-minded people Nexus might be the place!

No issue on posting here for an activity members may be interested in. You can also put the link in post, as long as it's well flagged it's a link to an external Discord and people know they leave d2.

As for PvP players, historically they are not very numerous on d2.

Io, but that can change - and perhaps also PvPers can find valuable stuff cheaper here as we are less experts on what has actual PvP value

Have fun with your tournaments (if I had time and no kids, I would actually like to try that. Perhaps in 20 years for D2ReResurrected. )!

I recently had my first child so I can understand the time constraints your participation in the ladders that you choose to participate in can be as casual or competitive as you want it to be. If ou have a chance of heart, please pop in for some duels!

Just an update, new website is up (adding on more in the future) https://d2r.nexus/

Will be running our first event in the next week or so that levels the playing field for everyone and is just for good fun. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up! It will be a Barb vs Barb Ironman FFA! Updates will be posted in the server when a date is set.

You need to add "https://" in front of the domain name in the link if you want it to work. Currently it points https://diablo2.io/d2r.nexus because this site's URL handling adds https://diablo2.io/ at the beginning unless the URL actually starts with http/https.

Date: Saturday, August 9th, 2025
Official Rules: Level 9 Barbarian Ironman Tournament
This is a self-found, Barbarian-only PvP tournament. Victory will be decided by skill, strategy, and luck—not by pre-farmed gear. Read all rules carefully before registering.
I. Character & Leveling Rules

• Class: Barbarian only.
  Level
  Cap: You must not exceed level 9. Reaching level 10 at any point results in disqualification.
  Creation: Characters must be created after the official tournament start time.
  Mode: Non-Ladder Softcore.
  Registration: You must register your character's name in the designated Discord channel before the farming phase begins.
  Number of Participants: 8 Total (Host fills one).

II. Farming & Gear Rules (The Ironman Core)

• []The Golden Rule: All gear and
  Gold must be 100% self-found.
  BANNED: Using the Shared Stash.
  BANNED: Trading or receiving items/
  Gold from any other player (including other tournament participants).
  BANNED: Any outside help (rushing, questing assistance, etc.).
  Farming Zone: You may only farm, level, and shop in Act 1, Normal difficulty.
  Allowed Items:
  • Any gear you find or shop for in Act 1 is legal.
    [Runewords are allowed if you can make them (e.g., Steel, Malice).
  Banned Consumables:
  • You may not enter the dueling arena with pre-loaded Thawing or Antidote potions.

III. Dueling Rules & Etiquette

• Tournament Format: Single Elimination. One loss and you are out.
  Arena:
  Blood Moor, Act 1. Do not leave this zone during a duel.
  Health Potions: No health potions of any kind are allowed during duels.
  Skills:
  • BANNED: The
    Howl skill is not permitted.
    Avoid excessive use of
    Leap or
    Leap Attack to run away from the fight.
  Starting a Duel: Both players go to opposite sides of the screen. The duel begins when both players type "go" or "g".
  Victory Condition: A duel is won when one player dies. The winner advances in the bracket.

IV. Schedule & Logistics

• Registration Deadline: Thursday, August 7th, 8:00 PM EST
  Farming Phase: Saturday, August 9th, 9:00 PM EST. All 8 participants will party and level together in Act 1. This phase ends once the last player reaches level 9.
  Dueling Phase: Begins immediately after the farming phase concludes. Players will be organized into a single-elimination bracket and duels will commence.
  Coordination: All bracket assignments and match coordination will occur in the tournament Discord channel.
• The host's decision on any disputes is final.

Just bumping this up, need a few more participants!

Unfortunately due to lack of participants the event will be postponed. You can still sign up for it on the discord (https://d2r.nexus) and when we have a full crew we will find a date!

Added a lvl 59 MLD PvP Ladder! Ruleset is still up for debate but there is a hard level

Cap at 59. Come join and have some fun! Any class works - get your tele ammy or staff ready if you don't have a good mobility skill

Also, I have added a Runs bot that should work for private

Baal/Chaos/TZ runs with host and participant commands. Feel free to come check it out!
