Can't upload Picture for trades

Device: PC
Browser: Firefox
OS: Windows 11

Steps to reproduce:

Using the Snipping Tool and Paste to insert the image and keep getting that error (see image).
The Picture is in the list below, but there's no Size or Status.
Also i can only Delete the image, there's no option to place it.

It only happens in the Trade Forums. In the Bugreport, i was obvious able to snip an image and paste it.

Anything else to add:

Same happens on my Laptop (also Win 11 and Firefox).
Also tried to relogin and delete the Cache.

Is this on a different network to the network you usually upload trade screenshots to? I can see that you have uploaded them fine in the past. The last time this issue came up, it was a Cloudflare setting causing the issue - but I reset that setting.

No, it‘s the same network i always uploaded the images. And as you can see, it worked here in the Bug-Forum just a second later - just not in the Trade Forum.

It worked yesterday:

There's no max dimensions, just has to be 1mb in size and under.

The HTTP error suggests Cloudflare is blocking the POST request.

Any chance you could open web inspector/browser dev tools in Firefox, reproduce the bug, and then show me what you're seeing in the Network tab?

Theoretically yes, but since i can't upload big images and the Logs are too big (5mb) i can't put em in here.
Is there an E-Mail-Adress where i can send the logs?

Can you work with those .har Log-Files?

Thanks for sharing the log file, but it's huge :/

I just need to see what the 'Network' tab says when you upload an image and get the HTTP error. There should be a list of requests. I'm interested in the details of the request that gets sent when you try to upload a file. Specifically, the response header - it should tell me what the HTTP response is (403 forbidden, 500 server error etc.)

@Hillerious I've adjusted FastCGI configuration and restarted Apache. Could you please let me know if you can now upload images to /trade without issue? I was able to after this fix but want to check with you first

It looks like it's working now for just "smaller" snippets

Test of a big screenshot:

If i open the snipping tool and want to insert the whole screen (almost), then the file is too big.

And it's only A part of the Window and it's "only" Full HD (1920 * 1080 px - not even 2k or 4k)
Is there a way to increase the size of pasted images and maybe compress them after?

Or would that be too much traffic / costs?

I probably did filesize config wrong in FastCGI config file. It should be 1mb max limit, dimensions don't matter. Will update that later.

Important question - you are able to upload attachments to trade listings again, correct?
