oh Oath. I have an Oath BA that i can't trade either LOL. It's such a neat cheap runeword.
That's because it needs to be made in an Eth Feral Axe 👌

If you are offering my asking for price, please feel free to add me on bnet or xbox, you do not need to wait for my confirmation.

Yep, and my preference is far away from those. I was mentioning the masks in particular because I understand they're quite popular.
Demonhead and Bone Visage have a good ratio of defense and strength requirement, which makes them very popular.

Of course it is a matter of taste, but combined with the right equipment, these look amazing:
Assassin wearing Demonhead and Sharktooth Armor
Necromancer wearing Scythe, Bone Visage and Mage Plate
Amazon wearing Bone Visage and Wyrmhide

What I really like about runewords is the customization! For me, the appearance of a hero is an important thing which most of the time is considered when I am making endgame runewords. Sometimes, this is even more important than having perfect stats. I just don't want to have my heroes all look samey.

The Natalya set is ugly as hell, at least it's kinda fun. But compare this to my other assassin...
Assassin with moustache and metal-rimmed glasses

Or:
Paladin wearing Andariel's Visage, Wyrmhide and Sacred Rondache

Sadly, there are some items being the absolute BiS bases: The well-known toy swords a.k.a. Phase Blade and Monarch. Hard to pass if you don't want to sacrifice a lot of life or damage potential. Same is for Archon Plate. But with a few more points in strength, there are fine alternatives.

Barbarian wearing Arreat's Face, Wire Fleece and plastic swords

In some cases and depending on runeword (Enigma or Dragon being very pleasant examples) I step down one class and opt for the exceptional version.
Druid wearing Hunter's Guise and Sharktooth Armor
Paladin wearing Winged Helm and Cuirass

Luckily, Mage Plate/Archon Plate are awesome on most heroes in terms of stats and looks:
Sorceress wearing Tiara and Mage Plate
Druid wearing Jalal's Mane and Mage Plate

At some day, I will make an Avenger Paladin with a Colossus Blade. Just because. :-D

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys, Ral, Hel, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than Pul (with the named exceptions).

I'm all in on coolness over power. Especially when playing online, since you probably don't play on "Players 7."

For example, I feel like using a Phase Blade (or pretty much any one-handed sword) with a Barbarian is aesthetic sacrilege, so my Barbarian uses a Death Colossus Blade and The Grandfather. I mean, what's cooler than TWO two-handed weapons? Masks just seem to break the aesthetics of most characters and look generally out of place, IMO. That assassin is a good example of how you can make it work, though (additionally, masks definitely look better in D2R than they did in LOD).

The fact that masks are popular due to stat requirements makes a lot more sense to me, though, since then it's obviously a power-over-aesthetics decision. Still, to be clear, I'm not saying "no one should like masks," I'm expressing my own preference, which is that they look like The Face of Horror.

I will never understand how Diablo players managed to wear those horrible masks as helms. Especially in LoD, they look a bit cooler in Resurrected.
Because in LoD, your character's head was maybe a grand total of 6 pixels.

When I was deciding on a Flickering Flame base for my Sorceress, I was all set to trade for a Superior Diadem before I took a look at a Tiara on the character selection screen using the D2 Runewizard hero editor and decided on that instead. The Diadem looked chunky and ill-fitted on her head in comparison. It looks better on the Amazon even though it still looks like a headlight on her too.

I 100% have made my barbarians armor an aesthetic choice over optimization. His Enigma and fort are both in Kraken Shells because i love how they look
