okay that's what i thought just wanted to check - thank you!
Be very careful with armor that you upgrade because certain pieces can end up with less defense. Armor that has the x% to Enhanced Defense always drops with its base defense as max +1. However when you upp an item in re-rolls that initial defense stat.
