is it just the base value?
I want to up my
Arreat's Face, but does anything on it change other than the new base defense on the new base item?
do the other mods all stay the same?

Be very careful with armor that you upgrade because certain pieces can end up with less defense. Armor that has the x% to Enhanced Defense always drops with its base defense as max +1. However when you upp an item in re-rolls that initial defense stat.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.
