Description

Earlier when I was viewing the trades, the items were listed as large boxes showing the trader's name, item and the full description of what they wanted tiled across the screen, now it's a downward scrolling list of very thin rows which provide very little information.

How do I return to the giant tiles that were previously showing up?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Request fulfilledby Teebling4 years agoGo to post
Fixed/request fulfilled in v1.0 - see patch notes here.

New trading UI in place after v1.0, as well as searching features you requested involving searching with keywords in descriptions and offers etc.

You can't - what you were seeing was old template, was a bug.

The overwhelming majority of people's feedback was that the tiles felt disjointed and annoying to navigate, so this is the new layout that was accepted to be better.

Can't keep everyone happy I suppose.

Fair enough. The old template oddly allowed you to search for words rather than items directly, so if I searched for "
Ber
" for example, it wouldn't show just "
Ber
" listings, but also all items that contained that name, which listed results that showed people needed a
Ber
for their item also. It was rather useful.

Hopefully there's some sort of middleground that can be found for that. <3 Potentially an option to swap between tiled view and search options or cascading "ticker" like items?

Yeah but that search only worked for the number of items on the current page of the market being viewed. Due to performance constraints, I've had to reduce that to only 100 trades, so you'd have to change page, search, change page, search etc.

I see what you mean though about it also picking up other instances of the word
Ber
- this would be a good addition to the main trade search.

Honestly, even with the performance constraints I feel the site is excellent and you've handled it well with the traffic involved.

I hope the reverse search options you picked up on are something that can be implemented, it will let people search for items they've found and potentially search for that (as a currency almost) and then with their new item, either trade it or again, use it as a currency and trade up further, leading to more usage of the site overall.
