Answered Multishot bowazon

I'm trying to build a multishot bowazon that hits the 95 IAS breakpoint. Looking for advice on jewels other than "get rich".

The gear I've managed to collect so far:

• Windforce
• Fortitude
• Laying of Hands
• Ravenfrost
• Bul-kathos Wedding Band (or a 7LL 25LR 56AR ring I found)
• Cat's Eye
• War Travelers (or some res
  Boots)
• a few decent AR and MD small charms, nothing crazy though
• a few 100+ AR grand charms

With 20 IAS from

Windforce + 20 IAS from gloves + 20 IAS from amulet = 60 IAS so far.

In total I'd need to use at least 3x15 IAS jewels to reach the breakpoint.
Ideally I'd use a bunch of 15/40 jewels but I haven't found any nor do I have the spare currency lying around to trade for them right now.

So assuming a 3 socket

Helm and 1 socket in the

Windforce and this assortment of IAS jewels:

• Jade Jewel of Fervor (with 23PR)
• Sapphire Jewel of Fervor (with 14CR)
• Argent Jewel of Fervor (with 89AR)
• Silver Jewel of Fervor (with 49AR)
• a whole bunch of plain Jewel of Fervor

What would you recommend I do? Because I could save one socket on my

Helm for a non-IAS jewel (or perhaps some rune).
These are the more useful ones I've found:

• Ruby Jewel (with 40ED)
• Ruby Jewel of Frigidity (with 36ED 1-4CD)
• Ruby Jewel of Envy (with 32ED 20PSN/2sec)
• Aureolic Jewel of Thunder (with 1-88LD 3MAEK)
• Argent Jewel of Carnage (12MD 62AR)

My natural inclination would be to use the two 15 IAS jewels with res, because the character's resistances will be very bad.
Then the 15 IAS jewel with 89 attack rating and the 40ED jewel in the leftover socket.

Maybe I should put in a fourth 15 IAS jewel anyway if I wanted to swap out

The Cat's Eye amulet for

Atma's Scarab...
Is the amplify proc any good with multishot though?

Any suggestions?

If you play on Ladder or can get any Hustle bow from previous seasons then use it instead of Harmony on swap for BoS prebuff with 1 point

Strafe.

Level 1

Burst of Speed is a game changer for both

Strafe and Multishot bowazons.

It will change IAS breakpoints and you'll be able to get not 9, but 8 FPA breakpoint and with just 72% IAS instead of 89%.

I use Hustle bow on swap for my

Strafe amazon and reach 4-2-7 breakpoint with just 60% IAS and without need to replace atmas with cat's eye or highlords. And no need for Faith merc in this setup.
You can start from Act2, might merc with any weapon, and end game with Pride on him.

I see I should've used an IAS calculator Not sure where I read about a 95 breakpoint.

And yeah, I keep forgetting about the other mods on Ravenfrost besides CBF, you're probably right that cold res is the least of my worries.

So no need to trade off AR or ED for it. I'll follow your suggestion for the jewels. Thanks!

Doesn't seem to be the case if 8FPA would otherwise require 147 IAS. That's kind of crazy

Hi! Yes, it's not addictive. It works like Fanatism aura, completely overwriting the whole IAS table.

It is because IAS from equipment has diminishing returns and from Skills not.
That's why build that require much IAS ended up using some ias Skill (the most common are: Hustle/

Burst of Speed, Faith/

Fanaticism,

Frenzy)

It's never quite what you think with this game like the on-/off-weapon ED... which makes me wonder if I put the 40ED jewel on the WF and the other jewels on the

Helm, then it should count as on-weapon ED right?

What about going for a

Giant Skull with the 2x 15 IAS jewels instead of 3 socket

Helm? The 25+ strength I save I could put into dex instead. Is it worth it? Would that offset the loss of the 12MD 62AR jewel?

Oh right, it's 50ED and according to this article, it counts as on-weapon ED and it will be applied before the +max from

You could socket your

Windforce with a

Shael which will give it 40 ias, and an

Andariel's socketed with a 15 IAS Jewel (ideally a 15 IAS with fire resist jewel) will add another 35 IAS. That should give you a little more wiggle room on setup.
