Why, because of being ethereal? It doesn't matter because you never actually hit with it, just casting. It'll never loose durability, so it's good. As a bonus you get a point for style. I have a Heart of the Oak in an ethereal Flail (it was first to drop with four sockets) and is good as new.

I'd argue having an item that's one stat point from anti-perfect is actually worse than an anti-perfect. It's not even perfectly awful.
I once had a 10/11/5 Annihilus. I might have kept it if it was 10/10/5 or traded it to someone who wanted one because some collectors will pay a lot for trophy junk. I couldn't do anything with a 10/11/5.

I was farming arcane for my first keyset to uber trist. At the same time it was a tz, which made me go for it.
While trying to get to The Summoner, my first high rune EVER in the game dropped: Cham. At this point I knew that in scnl Jah was pretty much the most valued rune and I was so pissed that it couldn't have been a bit lower.
A few runs pass, and in the same hour another rune, my second high rune, drops. This time, a Zod. I know that this is probably extremely lucky but I am still pissed, even 2 months later that they couldnt have been a bit lower.
Quite insane. My first Zod dropped 2 months ago & i play D2 since 2000 ( with some huge year-long breaks of course ) Also didn't have any high rune drop this ladder season. Sometimes rng is a b*tch.
Usually not online / checking d2io between 11pm - 7am CET. ( 4pm - 0am CST )
Honestly, I'd use it to level a Zealot. Having cannot be frozen 11 levels earlier than Raven Frost without needing to gimp my potions with Death's Guard would be sweet. Twould be a cool leveling piece, for those few of us that do so!
You may uprade Death's Guard to carry 16 potions Recipe: Exceptional Version of Set Armor
(required level becomes 29, so you probably want to have two and upgrade only one if you like to use it for leveling your characters - like me )
