Description

(I socketed it and put a 39% ED jewel in it, so it's 233% ED original.)

So, that's like 86th percentile for ED (190-240), plus 14% leech out of 11-15.

I mean, this is hardcore we're talking about here. Isn't this :
  • BiS for any paranoid HC player with any build
  • A solid option (and arguably in some situations BiS, e.g. against dangerous unleechable mobs) for a WW barb if it allows you to plow through crowds with more reckless abandon
?

I know there are many ridiculously wealthy people out there, but... really? There was no comment or buildup, either. He didn't make a big deal out of it. It was just like hi, crap unique, crap unique, mediocre unique,
Amn
rune, high ethereal
The Reaper's Toll
, crap unique, mediocre unique, some flawless gems, etc., bye.

I don't know who dropped it, or why, and I obviously can't speak for him/her, but assuming this was a person who exclusively plays ladder, this item has 0 (zilch, nada) value to them starting in about 30 hours from now. They can't use it on the next ladder, and even if they were to trade it for runes or something else, that would also end up on NL rather than the next ladder. So better to give it to someone who can find use for it, right?

One thing you can tell about this person though, is that they probably do not use d2jsp - d2jsp uses a virtual currency system where liquidity earned in one ladder season (or even in a different game) can be used to buy new items in the new ladder on day 1. It goes a bit against the spirit of ladder resets, but a lot of people do it (and I'm not judging anyone). This person doesn't seem to be one of them. Or just ridicolously wealthy. Who knows.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

Probably a wealthy player. I drop Enigma, Griffons, Infinity,
Shako
, and other valuable items at end of ladder free games due to being rich non ladder. I only keep the items that rolled high/perfect for trading on non ladder.

I am not surprised. Some HC people play only ladder.
At the end of a season, they pvp or delete their characters.

pm me here (d2.
