Greetings, fellow diablo2.io members!

I have a lot stuff that I've accumulated on Softcore Non-Ladder over the years, including a lot of things I've been given for the express purpose of turning into giveaways (yes, in other words, some people have dumped stuff on me ), and it's time to make something with it.


The idea, is that you can design your own build with all of the available items.

To participate:

1. Open the link
2. Pick your class
3. Assign items to gear slots & inventory
4. Save the result as a new Profile (you don't need a Maxroll account to do this)
5. Share the link to your build in here

Rules:

Updated rules for round #62:

• There are 16 total gear slots including the hireling, and you may fill them all.
• Two-handed items count as two gear slots.
• You are allowed to fill the inventory, but only with charms, and no more than 1 Sunder Charm.
• Jewels like Rainbow Facets are allowed to be slotted into socketed items.
• You may add sockets to items ("
  Larzuk" them) that don't already have one to fit a Jewel if you'd like.
• You're not allowed to mix skiller charms from other classes than the one of the build. For example, a Paladin build can't use skillers for Sorceress. If you win a draw with skillers from other classes in your inventory you'll simply not be given those, only the ones that match your build's class.
• You may make at most one submission per person. (if you make a new submission, it will replace your old one)
• You are allowed to participate even if you do not want the build for yourself - in that case, it will be raffled off to someone else instead via a random draw (lottery). Please make it clear if that's the case.
• All builds are given one point for each gear slot assigned (inventory does not count). That's at most 16 points.
• Since two-handed items count as two gear slots, they also count as two points.
• If your submission uses items that are no longer part of the giveaway, it counts as if you had left the slot empty. Though, I will allow items that are the same rune word, same unique, same set item, just with different roll (in this case, if you win you will get a replacement of my choosing).
• A build with more points will have a higher chance of being picked.
• You can keep participating after winning, there's no limit.
• Every participant who has won before gets a small penalty to their gear score equal to the number of times they've won.
• Every participant who has never won before gets a multiplier to their gear score that increases in this fashion:
  • 1 lost draw = x2
  • 3 lost draws = x3
  • 7 lost draws = x4
  • 15 lost draws = x5
  • 31 lost draws = x6
  (and so on, but I doubt anyone will lose that many draws before they win for the first time)
• Your total gear score cannot be increased to a value greater than your account's age in days, but your number of completed trades on diablo2.io will also be taken into account. If someone's account is 15 days old, and their gear score is 16, the gear score will remain at 16, regardless how many draws have been lost. But if the same person has 25 completed trades, the gear score can be increased up to a maximum of 40 (15+25).
• If someone is found to be attempting to circumvent the rules, they will be banned from this giveaway and all my future giveaways.
• I will randomly pick a build from all submissions (builds with higher point totals have a bigger chance of being picked). The chosen build will be given away exactly as it is (either directly to the designer, or set aside for a raffle at a later point).
• New rule starting with round #62:
  There may be multiple winners per round - the condition is that there is no gear overlap.
  • After I've drawn the first winner of a round, I'll draw a second winner from the remaining participants - if there is no gear overlap with the first winner, I'll present the second winner as well. If, however, there is gear overlap, there won't be a second winner (I won't announce who it was, and it won't count for scoring purposes in the following rounds).
  • If there was a second winner, I'll draw a third winner as well from the remaining participants - if there is no gear overlap with the first or second winner, I'll present the third winner as well. If, however, there is gear overlap, there won't be a third winner (I won't announce who it was, and it won't count for scoring purposes in the following rounds).
  • There will be at most three winners per round. Gear overlap will only take equipment into account, not charms.
• IMPORTANT: You will need to repost your submission for each round, even if nothing has changed.

Any person whose build is picked needs to respond in this thread within 48 hours after being picked or will be eliminated from the giveaway (and a new build will be picked instead).
Keep an eye on this thread if you're interested! I will mention you in here and DM you if your build wins. Activate email notifications to be sure you don't miss it.

IMPORTANT INFO:
Several people have missed out on their wins because they haven't responded within 48 hours after being picked. If you are drawn as a winner, I will mention you (@name) and also send you a DM, but it's up to you to actually make sure you don't miss this. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR NOTIFICATIONS SET UP CORRECTLY. You can find your notification settings here: [User Control Panel] > [Notifications] > [Options]. Specifically, you want to check the settings for "Someone sends you a private message" and "Someone mentioned me".

I suppose it took around 5-6 hours to add everything to the Maxroll Profile. And then an hour or two to plan it and write it up, I think.
It's all a disorganized mess btw, since a lot of it was dumped on me by people who no longer play SC NL and I just stuffed that into mules without trying to sort or organize it (when you're given several characters worth of items over a couple of minutes, you don't have much time to think).
