Hey all, I am slightly confused as I thought through reading various things from various sites that D2R had 3d models and such instead of .dcc and .cof graphics. I wanted to mess with modding like the old days and downloaded the Neosis tool to inspect and check out the models but all the data that i extracted are old style files? I feel like i did something wrong here haha. Any tips as to how to view these animations and such?

i guess the files are supposed to be that way but anyone know how to view and play them on noesis? I know its possible as ive seen the screen shot but havent gotten any answers after hours of scanning the internet for answers.
You might want to try a discord channel associated with one of the major mods. For example in the BTDiablo discord, there several active members who might be able to help. Probably also true for other mods, but there is very little modding discussion here in my experience--although I'm sure someone could know here too
Use CASC viewer to extract the D2R files - you should be able to find them somewhere. People have definitely managed to edit models etc. so it's possible.

yeah I was able to extract the files but this Neosis program isnt reading the format when the version i have is supposed to do just that. Ill try some of the discord channels thanks for the replies!
