Poison Creeper can attract the attention of nearby monsters and prevent the player from being attacked.

Monsters get inflicted with poison damage while kited over the roots spawned by the
Poison Creeper.

Poison Creeper appear to be immune to poison damage.

Player can stay in safe range from bosses while the creeper kills them.

Poison Creeper can't be damaged while underground.

Poison Creeper can't be Knock-backed.

Poison Creeper can't be put into hit recovery.

Round up monsters into bigger pack before dropping a creeper on them early level to save mana.

Poison Creeper does not benefit from auras, buffs and debuffs. Except maybe for
Lower Resist curse.

Poison Creeper staffmod can only spawn on item level 1-24 Druid pelts.

Poison Creeper deals damage by emerging from the ground to place several size 3 "mats" of poisonous brambles. As

Poison Creeper's slvl increases, more mats are placed each time the vine emerges (number of mats = min(slvl+2, 24)) and the mats persist for a longer duration (mat duration = slvl+2 seconds). These mats are static and are not destroyed on collision; any enemy within the area of a mat is inflicted with the listed poison damage.

Each mat is subject to the Last Collide mechanic. If multiple enemies are located on the same mat, they will suffer poison damage at a rate of approximately [1 + (1/N)] * (the listed damage), where N is the number of enemies on the mat.
