Adding "Lo" to Trade

How do you add "

Lo" when creating a trade. I see it being done but cannot do it myself.
When I input "

Lo" it gives me like weapon options like

Lo-ng Sword or

Lo-ng Bow

Just type '

Lo' and you don't need to click from the dropdown.

Lo off the screen.

I think this same issue also happens on the "Mark trade as sold" window where I can select the buyer.
For example I wanted to select user Kev, he did not show up but others like Kevin, Kevwhatever etc. did.
I could mark Kev with your workaround by not selecting anything in the drop down, still this is confusing if one does not know what is going on.
