Spear that, as it's indestructible, unfortunately can't spawn as ethereal, making it relatively useless for Mercenaries unless you have nothing better. Crushing Blow is useful though.

Steel Pillar is one of the two unique weapons that the Desert Mercenary can wield and that has Crushing Blow. Although easily outclassed by runewords, its decent attack speed and good bonus to defense make it a viable choice at the start of hell difficulty.
