I found a decent Deathbit offline. Is this only a placeholder item under better knives are found, or can it in fact be 'end-game' viable? Thanks!

Lacerator, Warshrike, rare throwing weapon are better.
For offline, you can still use it while searching for better weapon.

While there might be better options out there, it is certainly still endgame viable for a throw barb. Though it should obv. be upgraded for that.
