Hi people. Any tips for making an
Iron Golem
from
Metalgrid
have more survivability? Wanna use on a Bowazon, dont know if
Teleport
or Call To Arms on Weapon Swap would help more with this. Thanks.
Both will help a lot, but a MG
Iron Golem
will always be relatively squishy without
Golem Mastery
and
Summon Resist
. Unless if you're playing a build with good CC (like a Frostmaiden), lots of meat shields (including yourself if you're a melee class), or just something that does enough damage to keep stuff in hit recovery then I think you'll always have to keep a close eye on the golem especially against unique packs.

Bottom line up front: unless you’re into end-game gear a
Metalgrid
IG on a bowazon probably wont be ideal. Highlords or a good rare/crafted amulet would be better.

Otherwise it Sorta depends what your set-up and goals are.
Teleport
is better overall for survivability than a CTA BO (especially a low roll), but if your doing massive enough damage that you don’t need to tele away then a higher level BO would help more.

What’s your set-up (including merc)?

How do you normally play?

I played a long time with Faith. I really wanted to make
Iron Golem
from a Beast to reach the max frames attack speed (7) with
Windforce
(and more damage, Fanatscism would do a lot). From researches ive made, a good
Windforce
build can do more damage than Faith, that i always thought struggle too much on players 8.

But i need to say that i ended up giving up the idea -
Iron Golem
with no resists, life sinergies and all, would always run to Death on P8 Cow Level, or Chaos... So, now im planning to make a build with 8 frames attack speed, using Hustle on swap.

Unless someone have an amazing idea that i dont had yet, but unfortunatly
Iron Golem
lvl 22 with no sinergies seems a lot squishy. But would be really grateful if people have ideas.

Thanks!

Its for a Physical Bowazon with
Windforce
- Merc with Pride and Might, and
Iron Golem
would give me Fanatiscism. Idea is to make a much more smooth players 8 than Faith build, that i already played a lot.

But i just think he will die very fast and Ill end up losing Beasts really reasily lol
