There is no repair or indestructible affix on Jewel. You must use a
Zod
for that...

List of affixes
https://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/i ... wels.shtml
Or
https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/
(you may see the available affixes while creating/editing a jewel)

You can also search the other way round: what are the sources of the Indestructible affix?

Let's use the Amazon Basis:
https://www.theamazonbasin.com/wiki/ind ... structible

In this case, the only sources besides
Zod
runes are a magic (not rare) item affix and some pre-defined set and unique items. Sorry, no jewels.

Unfortunately, it's outdated, but D2R introduced few changes, so most of the data are still usable.

No repair over x seconds on rare items? you sure? that sounds wrong. I swear ive found them.

According to
https://classic.battle.net/diablo2exp/i ... /suf.shtml
rares (and so crafted) may have repair suffix

Indestructible is for magic only.

If I remember correctly, repairs can be done on rare gems. I've seen it somewhere...
Trang and Fred have already answered the affix and jewel question.

You might be thinking of the cube repair recipe (shamelessly ripped from online article) which uses gems.

1
Ral
Rune + 1 Armor = 1 Repaired Armor.
1
Ral
Rune + 1 Flawed Gem + 1 Armor = 1 Repaired/ Recharged Armor.
1
Ort
Rune + 1 Weapon = 1 Repaired Weapon.
1
Ort
Rune + 1 Chipped Gem + 1 Weapon = 1 Repaired/ Recharged Armor.

If your base is superior gold cost can become very high to repair, so sometimes the above is used when the armour / weapon is at very low durability.

Yeah, the post you responded to was a bot/spammer that deceptively embedded a link to an external website inside the quoted section (I guess in hope someone would misclick on it or that bots would follow it?), and your own quote of that post contained that as well so I've edited it out (and deleted the post you responded to). The user was banned. We get these from time to time.

My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.

Thank you Shadow and apologies.

No worries! These deceptive links are easy to miss so don't worry about it.

We moderators are used to seeing these posts pop up from time to time - the posts are usually short, like a single sentence, often but not always quote someone, usually don't really add anything to the conversation or are just plain nonsensical, often necroing older threads, and they either have a deceptive link right away or the user comes back a few hours later and edits the link into the post then. Sometimes the link is in their signature. We temporarily had a restriction on editing posts for new users for this reason, but it was disruptive to the trade experience for new users so we had to remove that restriction.

But I guess that's enough of going offtopic here :P

After seeing the prior replies here, I think that would be an insane drop for a jewel if it does exist. Imagine the benefits for an Ethereal item, it may even be preferred than a
Zod
Rune for some socketed items especially Uniques.

Zod
would be useless (... except for Breath of the Dying...)

Yeah, I think that would be at least part of the reason why the indestructible and auto-repair affixes don't exist for jewels. Same with
Cham
and cannot be frozen, I guess. Most runes have an effect that either doesn't exist on jewels at all, or a stronger effect than is possible on jewels.
