That's neat, haven't encountered that scenario yet myself.
The shrine wants to give u ‘high five’, and the way it is, it doesnt take no for an answer
Can trade on PC or SWITCH
I was rather happy to find in Stony Field 3 XP shrines quite recently with a levelling char, boosted nicely (before I met two Curses-enchanted elites), but they were not that close.
Main: Necromancer / Second: Assassin / Third: Amazon / Check my stash, my crafts and my many cheap Annihilus

When I used to farm normal Countess for low level runes (and then cubing them to Ral) I was constantly bumping on gem shrines which are handy when you need perfect Amethysts. A very odd shrine mechanics o_O
i have had them close but not that close
