Description

Hey,

I always wanted to give my Merc an Obedience, but last week or so i found a
The Reaper's Toll
and it already increased my farmspeed and my survivability massively (I play a
Frenzy
-Barb).
Now I was wondering if an Obedience would be even better.
I´m sure one of you was in my situation before and can help me out.

You need reapers for that wonderful
Decrepify
to counter physical immunes, unless you equip a Lawbringer. In that case, if your merc has another source of life leech, Obedience could be good

I personally would stick with the Reaper. The decrep is just soo good for really any build.

All prices are negotiable.
All trades are Non-Ladder.

For my
Frenzy
Barb Reapers Toll is best most of the time, except these two occasions:
-
Travincal
if you are horking - both are not good because of the cold damage
- Ubers - Obedience is my preference because of the
Decrepify
overwriting the
Life Tap
and also Obedience offers some more resistances, which for there is essential

Reapers is the way to go when starting out. Like you said, huge survivability boost thanks to decrep.

However, I'd recommend looking for an
Eth
Arioc's Needle
for Trav farming, to avoid cold damage. Every corpse counts / All corpses matter ;)

When I'm not slaying demons, I'm usually out hiking mountains.

At the moment I use an Insight to avoid cold damage.

I tried Reapers and Obedience but there were a few of non horkable bodies on the Ground.

I also tried an A5 Barb with Unbending Will,
Bloodmoon
,
Arreat's Face
and
The Gladiator's Bane
but he was not that stable as I hoped.

Take this potion of LUCK

You play in a different language and want to trade an item with the name "Brennender Riesenzauber der Verstümmelung"?
Use the Baaltor tool to translate it into "Burning Grand Charm of Maiming"

I used a non-
Eth
Arioc´s Needle before i found the Reaper´s toll...
I guess i´m staying on reapers so far. Next milestone is Fortitude anyway

Yea, non
Eth
Ariocs is fairly weak, so Reapers def beats it.

And Fortitude is a great choice for merc armor, so long as you don't plan on horking. More cold damage from the
Chilling Armor
proc. Chains of Honor would be the best choice for merc, if you do plan on horking.

i've got an
Eth
Arioc's Needle
you can have if you're on SC ladder. low ED roll unfortunately, but it did at least get +4 to all skills.
