A summary of a period of my life:

I loved D2 back in the days, but I never read any guides and my builds really sucked in hindsight. My favourite char was a Thorns-based pala. You can say that I hot my ass kicked pretty hard when he entered hell…

Roll forward the tape and now I am a father of two wonderful daughters and work as a medical doctor. You can say that I don’t have a lot of time to play games. But I still find some time here and there - the Passion never died. So when D2R was announced I really had to focus everything into one single build, I won’t have time to make multiple elite-chars. I chose Hammerdin - this time my paladin would reenter hell and kick Baal’s ass! I read guides, followed builds, and there you go. I kicked Baals ass.

I then decided to run cow levels. I have at most one hour each evening. Atm I have done 395 cow levels, and this is the result regarding high runes (multiple good uniques as well of course, such as Shako x 2 and Tal Rashas guardianship x 4):
- Lo x 2
- Cham x 2
- Gul x 1
- Sur x 1
And the Crown jewel:
- Ber x 1

Last week on ladder:
rolled perfect 775 mp Enigma
Jah from shenk trash

Then from Chaos today:

Found a Vex in the pit last night and traded it to a friend for Tal armor, completing the set. went to show it off to another buddy of mine in hell cows, while they were showing off their new Ice bow with their frost maiden zon build.

didn't find anything special in cows, just a few mid tier uniques, nothing notewothy. decided to hit all our farming spots and got a spread of runes from Shael to Pul doing countess, the pit, and a couple other places. went to act 4 and found a Cham while clearing the place.

immediately after diablo, got an Ist from an imp on the way to shenk.

two minutes later, got a 4/4 fire up facet off a harpy in Baal's throne room.

turned around and went back to get Andariel because we'd skipped her for some reason, and got a Stone of Jordan.

let my buddy keep the Ist, he gave me the Cham, and i switched over to my assassin and made Plague in a 3os claw he gave me. hit a few more lvl 85 spots, and we went our separate ways.

goofing off later on my own, got a perfect ethereal Kraken Shell with 4os and 15% enhanced defense, dropped in worldstone keep.

i think i've used up all my luck for the year.

After maybe +600 runs of Travincal I finally get to drop a hr from council, and it is a Cham.

I was on the verge of believing that I am cursed or smt, the highest rune they dropped so far was Lem..

This is my lucky find

I found an Eth 4os Giant Thresher this morning. Was able to trade for a Lo + Vex, helping me complete Heart of the Oak and Grief.

For me is just lucky tower First Sur then this

I had a hard time believing that I dropped Ber when I went to get Wirt's Leg on a pack of 5 mobs in Tristram. Unbelievable

finally, i hope there s still some market for it

I play diablo since first D1 demo in 1996, played single player, ladder, private servers, ressurected... in ALL MY DAYS the highest rune I have EVER dropped was Gul. Most GG item I ever dropped is 3/6/6/6 Wolfhowl (still have it), 15/14 4sox Eth Thresher and 15/15 3sox Archon Plate with perfect defense in first 2 weeks of D2R

To be honest, I'm really interested how colorblind people see such image after applying a special filter. Because as for me it is a regular screenshot but massively yellowed. And it's quite a task to differ color of rune and color of rare item (ok. maybe not a hard task but they have some. Especially health globe seems rather similar to them).

made a berzerker...decided to finally get a good amount of trav runs in. After a few nights of disappointment, this finally happened.

Sorry, yes I'm colorblind, my future screenshots will be in normal settings without the game filter
Anyway I don't see the massive yellow how normal people seen and I can see the difference between unique items and the color of runes with this filter.
I'm curious too, I will post an image of the same scenario to see the difference, if I'm able to see XD
