you get the message Terror gazes upon Sanctuary, and afaik it only give another message on the last 2 sojs sold when he spawn on last soj, or am i missing something ?

Can be used to make Runewords:
It gives you the current stage, out of the 6 total possible stages just in case you missed the last on-sale message.
But yeah, since the stages themselves are fairly vague, there isn't all too much use to it, other than go "mmk, not even stage 4/5 yet, no need to pay attention for now".
