While the fixed variables of the Caster Weapon are generally subpar, it bears mention that Wand-, Scepter-, and Staff-class Caster Weapons may be crafted. Such weapons will have randomly generated staff mods as appropriate for their ilvl. This provides a method to target farm a weapon that provides +5 to one or more desired skills.
