Description
Taunts a monster to walk to you and engage in melee range combat with you. Useful against spell casters and archer types.
Player vs Player - This will not work on other players.
Taunt will not work on Berserk, Posessed, Fanatic or other creatures immune to Terror or Confuse, nor Super Unique Monsters, Champions, and Bosses.
Oblivion Knight and Putrid Defiler are also immune to the effects of Taunt.
Taunt is useful against Monsters that run away from you.

A Barbarian taunting an opponent into a blind rage hopes to capitalize on the mistakes enemies may make while so angered.
It is this ability that causes Barbarians to have a poor reputation as drinking partners.

- Taunt will replace or be replaced by other useful debuffs like Decrepify/ Amplify Damage.
- Taunt duration last for around 5 minutes.
- When target is not selected, one will be sought within 5 1/3 yard radius of cursor and closest eligible target to Barbarian is taunted.
- If there is none, then closest eligible target to Barbarian within 13 1/3 yard radius of him is taunted, regardless of cursor position.
- Cursor will need to be moved to Taunt another target unless one moves closer to Barbarian.
- Taunt will reach monsters off-screen which you have not targeted, if you just point your cursor in the general direction.
- % Damage has a floor of 10%, so level >43 (-90% or more) is potentially redundant against monsters with no +% Damage from skills or Unique minion bonuses.
- % Attack Rating has no floor, so level >48 (-100% or more) is potentially (but not always) redundant.
- +(1-3) Taunt (Barbarian Only) can spawn on ilvl >11 primal helms.
- Unbending Will Sword and Myth body armor has chance to cast Taunt on Striking.
