Rune drop sound but no runes on the ground

Literary very loud and clear rune drop sound when I kill a pack of monsters but no runes at all. Had this many times and it's bugging me.

This happened to me a couple times actually. But i figured maybe i misheard or it was just a minor sound glitch, didn't realize more people were experiencing it. Its really the biggest tease in the world lol. Such a cruel bug!

There's also a limit on items that can be shown at the same time. So maybe if you kill too many monsters (happens in Cows a lot for me), you have to collect some stuff before you can see the other items.

Oh for sure, i noticed this in the maggot lair and

Arcane Sanctuary A LOT because there's barley any room for items to drop. Ive had it many times where it only looked like potions and trash dropped but upon picking up all the potions suddenly runes or other uniques appeared lol.

But for what im talking about in my first comment i was in Cows and there wasn't much on the Ground and i knew for a fact i heard the rune drop sound twice, yet no runes.

I've been having this other weird experience when I kill a large mob and see a flash of orange in the air but looking through the drops there is not a rune in sight.

We know about it also, but this is not the case, I searched the entire area, zoomed a couple of times, and no runes, but the sound was played.

Good thing I play with no sound. Probably missed a rune or two.

I also thought, that I heard a rune drop and didn't find any ... Even when I did not reach the 35ish visible Item limit for sure.
Maybe stepped on a frog...? x_x

So..I'm not just going crazy is what you're saying?

I keep thinking my traps must've nuked something off-screen that dropped a rune but searching surroundings doesn't yield anything that explained the sound either.

Well... maybe it's some kind of subconscious paranoia and you should go see a doctor .
Na, I don't know. It happened to me few times and I could not find a rune either. Also no idea what caused the sound :/.

It remembers me the time when I killed a big pack of monsters and suddenly I had a

Vex on my inventory. Never saw it drop, never attempted to pick it, just appeared in my inventory out of nowhere

just watch that ^^

Using the zoom feature will show items that are hidden in all the loot as well.

iirc, there is a type of monster in A3 that when you slay them, they make a sound that sounds exactly like the 'pebble on Ground' sound of a rune dropping, but it's just a sFx. I believe it's the Walking Tree Golem mobs (forgot what their called).

The fix would be to have an option to just turn all the text into icons or let us resize text size, we might have an update with just that in 2061.

It's those Ghoul Lords, I'm just in

Arcane Sanctuary right now, they also spawn in Act 3, they, sometimes but not everytime, make a sound, that's really close to a Rune drop .

Let's be honest people: we're so after these stonies that we see HR drops in our dreams occasionally ofc sometimes we hear something similar and we flash in that very moment. I think we need a doctor (well, of a sort) - but instead we want a dose. Good one, named

I can rarely hear Rune drop sound… it’s not like gems or jewels, too subtle compare to gem and jewels

Scrolls make the same sound

any solution found? playing cold sorc and got that sound bug too... its driving me crazy. Didnt found a

Jah in ladder and got the feeling that i dont get them based on the sound bug
