Description

Token of Absolution may be right-clicked to reset all the character's skills to 0 and stat points to initial class-specific values. There is no limit to how many times one character can use a Token, so it is impossible to make a character unplayable by choosing a bad build (as long as you can obtain a Token).

It is obtained through crafting Recipe: Token of Absolution, for which the ingredients are the four essences:

Twisted Essence of Suffering
Charged Essence of Hatred
Burning Essence of Terror
Festering Essence of Destruction

These are obtained from act bosses on Hell difficulty.

Be careful: there is no confirmation menu.

Perhaps the only advantage console players have over PC players: on consoles, using a Token of Absolution requires holding the "use" button for about a second before the item is exhausted and its effects applied.

When using this as a Necromancer while having an Iron Golem make sure you wear a Metalgrid. This will prevent your Iron Golem from despawning after the reset.
