I consider this roll "really lucky". And Uber Korlic had to drop the right jewel (Cold -- Protector's Frost) to begin with, since I wanted it for my Blizzard Sorceress.
Ok so, preface. I play solo and offline, as other posts in this forum will indicate
Last year, I made an Enigma. SSF. Took me about 3 months to complete through LK. Through sheer persistence, I got to a point where one morning, I sat down to eat and the last Sur rune dropped. After that, I got burned out for the better part of the year. Got back in in December.
Then, I made a Throw Barb to farm Pit and Pindleskin to find a Griffon for my Javazon.
Which I found in two weeks after I started looking for it.
I kept pushing on, wanting to make an Infinity for my Sorc and for better Javazon experience. Went through cows and got next to nothing apart from some good gear so I switched up to Travincal. And yesterday, this happened.
BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE.
This morning, I got up and fired up the game again. What happened, unlike the image above, I cannot prove.
And I say this because, I swear to everything I hold dear, A SECOND Jah rune dropped. Travincal. P8. Exactly like the previous one. Flabbergasted, I didn't know how to react. I paused the game to take the celebratory screen shot.
Yeah.
Only for my hand to pause the game, and click 'save and exit'.

This is ... I don´t know what to say...
But I completely understand this because when you are constantly doing runs it "burns" into your brain that on the Esc-Screen you HAVE to click "Save and Exit". Therefore I am sure this could easily have happened to me, too...

But I completely understand this because when you are constantly doing runs it "burns" into your brain that on the Esc-Screen you HAVE to click "Save and Exit". Therefore I am sure this could easily have happened to me, too...
It's fine, since it's offline, I edited it in, I feel a bit dirty now, I did everything legit up until this point but because my brain as you guys said, got burned into "Save and Exit", I cheated myself of a second high.
Yeah, always grab first and then take a screenshot from now on.

This is the second DreadfangLegend Sword I've found, so I think it's calling to me. The enhanced damage range is 133 to 166, so 156 ED and 154 ED aren't terrible rolls, but it's not the ED that I'm looking at. It's the 33% chance to cast level 3 Amplify Damage on striking that has me thinking. The sword has a base speed of -15 which is fairly fast to begin with so match it with some decent IAS gear and Amplify Damage will be almost continuously on, and then add Deadly strike and...?? So it's time to give one of them a try.
