I found a Ber rune on one of my first ever Trav runs since returning. Started playing again less then 2 months ago as a fresh start after being gone for about 20 years.
After I typed that I was thinking I actually looted a 15% IAS +15 max jewel which actually got me fast tracked on getting some gear. Probably under sold it but happy none the less. That was probably less than 2 weeks playing time.
You are inspiring me to respec my pally and run some ubers again this weekend... Was it you a couple weeks ago that posted some other nice torches? That person (you?) inspired me to run ubers then and I had 3 characters worth of keys. I ran ubers that weekend until I ran out of hoping for something good but unfortunatley I was unable to get anything worth mentiong. I know, rng is rng. Congrats on your nice torches btw!

And rng is brutal. I run almost completely out of "Wealth" two times while getting mostly low sin and druid torches and had to do some MF to afford next runs so I know what you mean;)

you cannot build Spirit in this, it's a magic item. so kinda worthless, sorry bro
The point isn't Spirit, the point is having a 4-sock base for your jewels that is better than a random WhiteMonarch. Same reason JMoDs hold such value.
Seems none of these have ever traded here so no clue on the actual value/relative to JMoD but seeing how not all "jewel-shield-builds" care about blocking (due to 0 dex anyways and such), the extra def may well be preferred, and even more so the lower str req. Not to mention the Eth style which a fair few folks prefer and we all know folks will pay out the nose for style. Realistically, that shield is objectively better than a JMoD for quite a few builds and could/should hold value to match.
Eth isn't the same as ED however so the base roll isn't forced to be max+1 as it would on say a superior ED base. This is simply a 139 def base roll Monarch turned Eth -> 139 * 1.5 = 208.5, rounded down to 208.

So, I started playing with a friend about two years ago, in 2022, played for a couple of months and gave up the game.
Recently, we suddenly remembered her again and continued to play and farm around the fan together.
By the end of the second week, I start complaining to a friend that the drop is not happy at all, the maximum rune is east and some not very expensive unique items, a friend explains this by saying that the game is preparing something special for us
And so, two days later, I go into the game, go to the horror zone to Diablo, 1 race the rune Zod falls, 4 or 5 race this cute charm falls from Diablo himself. When I read its properties, I didn't understand it right away....
So, I started playing with a friend about two years ago, in 2022, played for a couple of months and gave up the game.
