Can be used to make Runewords:
Have a look at the db page for Wrist Sword and see the 'Max sockets by iLvL' section - this should be the correct amount (3), if the ilvl is high enough.
Looks like the data in the item's tooltip is wrong though (2). Will fix.
To confirm for you, I had a look at historical sales of Wrist Sword and the very bottom entry states it had 3 sockets.

Right. I’d seen where someone had alleged sold a 3os Wrist Sword, which made me curious.
