Weird bug - corpse of a character that wasn't dead

Every time I enter the game I see my character's corpse (without gear) on the ground. It cannot be picked up. How do I get rid of it?
I don't know why is it here - my paladin definitely wasn't dead at the moment I logged off last time (on the contrary, he was in town with full health). Spoiler

Is your inventory full? Stash full of Gold? Item that shouldn't be on swap? Try making room in your inventory, maybe temporarily dump some Gold on the Ground and trying pick up your body again?

My free items are for players who play on xbox only and are intended for new players or ones who can't afford much. Its sad I even need to stipulate this ...
Maybe you picked up something unintentionally on the floor.
Most likely that.
After I died once I went to pick up the body and after clicking on it it still remained on the spot and I wasn't sure why.
It looks like I picked up a body armor on route to my body and that was it. After I dumped that gear I could collect all the gear from my previous dead body and then disappeared.
