Questions IAS and Shapeshifting

so when i dig this topic i get all sorts of information often contradicting each other.

Sooooo for the ladder restart i might want to do some hybrid druid build and I want to calculate some stuff before going all in.

How do i calculate IAS for a shapeshifter both Bear and Wolf?
also Metamorphosis trigger on hitting ppl or on equipping the Pelt?

i know you can break immunities later on in the game BUT WHERE IS DA FUN IN THAT right?
im playing this game now since release and i like to create my own shit.

im thinking about a Hurricane Bear or wolf hybrid. Maybe using Earth Shifter. I can see myself doing ubers with him IF i can get the IAS question out of the way.
have been playing without Enigma since D2R just for fun and found out that i actually dont need it that much to get good shit. enough rambling.

I'm working up a Windhammer wolf/Fury hybrid for lots of crushing blow and some twisters. Also a dual Phoenix wolf/Fury hybrid for constant Firestorm. Let me know how your Earth Shifter goes.

does the shield IAS still not work in shapeshifting?

They do, but the Twister damage will still be very low. That said, (and speaking from firsthand experience,) the Stun duration synergy from Arctic Blast will work like a charm!
