Physical Bowazon - which belt?

Hey guys,

This is my last try to make bowazon playable (I always find bowa aint doing much dmg). This seems to be working very nicely (my experiences are from act 1 hell, but clearing even @ p4 is doable).

I am using Mist RW + Fortitude RW - I have 1 hard point

Strafe (+7 on gear) - I will respec after I get torch. My original point was not to go

Strafe, but its dmg is insane even on low level.
So far I dont have any charms with dmg. My merc was wrongly picked with defense aura instead of might and once I get base for Faith I will make another super expensive merc
+ I am also thinking about idea to try

Windforce, but I prefer Mist because its really good for bowa. Please dont say that

Windforce is better than Mist
I would say my roll is kinda good = 545%ed out of range 490-600%ed

My current gear:
Mist - off hand Harmony
Fortitude
G face
Aldurs (WTB gore riders)

Laying of Hands
Mavina

Belt
2x random rings with AR and some resists (WTB

Raven ring)
1x

Crescent Moon amulet (because of mana leech)

I have only anni (WTB torch)
and some random resists charms + 1x 13AR/20life

I dont plan to use BK ring or High lord during S2 (thats expensive + I have them on non ladder, and I play ladder only to get sundercharms and few ladder only RW)

Because Mist has 100%

Pierce. I dont need

Razortail. But I have no clue which

Belt to use. What would you recommend? Honestly I dont know what can be rolled in rare belts. What should I be looking for?

Windforce as main, or even Wrath if you're not giving the merc Delirium.

I'd recommend

Nosferatu's Coil mainly to hit the IAS breakpoint. It'll also give you life leach and 15 str so you can put more points into dex to up your dmg. War trav

Boots are a must also for the raw dmg they give you. those gloves are fine but you'd be better off with

Hit Power Gloves which give knockback if you aren't going to use WF. if you can afford ed ias jewels, toss a few of those in a

Helm to get to the 95% ias breakpoint (20%gloves, 10%

Belt, 20%ammy either highlord or cat's eye, 45% from

Helm).

Sur on ladder.

I just did Faith (got only +1skills), it has slower IAS than Mist (very fast) - Faith is only fast.

both RW are done in GMB.

I tried all combination.

My dmg (on normal attack):
Act 1 merc with Faith, me with Mist = 606 - 3222, AR 7222
Act 1 merc with Mist, me with Faith = 805 - 3621, AR 11395
Act 2 merc with might, me with Mist = 627-3334, AR 5537
Act 2 merc with might, me with Faith = 781 - 3498, AR 11395


With Faith I have 20 IAS
With Mist I have 40 IAS
+ fanaticsm lvl 14 - 33IAS

Faith is really noticable slowly than Mist.

I have never understood frames for IAS. Can anyone link me website (or explain it) so I would understand? I have tried to understand frames for IAS for zealot, but I didnt understand it at all (

Don't discount the added damage dealt by the Act 1 merc from enabling full

Pierce when you give her Mist, especially when you combine it further with Duress or Fortitude, or other proc effects.

I found some IAS calculator (it seems less confusing than with

Zeal) I bought one helmet for merc to get strenght to wear my Insight in colosus

Voulge and it has +15IAS. So I am able to get to better frames (and its visible how fast it shoots).

Regarding skill.

Strafe has 18IAS breakpoint. And I find

Strafe as super high dmg. if I get nosferatu then I can get to better frames.

+2max dmg = 19dmg on multishot.

War travs gives 15-25
= + 150-250dmg

Which puts me from 805 - 3621 to 955 - 3871 (did I calculate it right)?

But is this more than

+15% Chance Of Crushing Blow
+15% Deadly Strike
?

Helm like Kira to reach break points.

Your attack rating is way too low. You need to get it well over 10,000 and 12,000 would be better, or you're going to be missing as much as you hit. To reach break points with a Mist if my Memory serves me you need 80 IAS. With Faith it's less because

Fanaticism greatly increases attack speed.

Is it worth giving up on like the OP opines? I have a bowazon and I'm wondering how much to invest in her. She's fun but damage seems low.

I played only p2 and it was doable (I was using Mist). I think p8 is super super slow unless u have all dmg charms. I have decided to go with Mist, so I have 0skill points in penetrated.

I dont think bowa is made for fast clear p8 I think p4 with perfect gear would be top which I would ask normal clear speed (compare to other classes bowa is slow) but fun !

yeah its low, but keep in mind that those numbers are from normal attack, with Mist +

Strafe its 10,5k , but multishot doesnt have AR bonus

Strafe:
Mist: 10,5k AR = 81%
Faith: 14,5k AR = 85%

Multishot:
Mist: 7,5k AR = 76%
Faith: 11,7k AR = 83%

I definitely need to work on my AR and to upgrade my

Penetrate skill (+AR its not yet maxed - I am lvl 77).

I havent respec. I am waiting for torch, then I will respect. I have so many points in strenght.

Your image shows the attack rating I'm referring to as

Strafe attack rating, which is under 5k.

In my view a lot of people put far too man points in vitality instead of Dexterity for a Bowazon.

Strafe is the most effective life leech possible and so a lot of the vitality points are wasted. Also each time you add Dexterity when you level you increase your damage. Along with stuff my total dexterity is over 400.

you obviously havent read first sentence under that picture.

Anyway my

Penetrate skill is at 16

Strafe at 11

so my if my AR went from below 5k to 10k just because I put 10hard points into it. With maxed skills I should be around 17k if my math is right.
